Where the paid line sits
Two movements answer a question. Six show you the boundary.
A free reading computes overhead and the deep bend. That is usually enough to settle the thing you were already worried about — whether the hem lifts, whether it rolls at the waist.
What it cannot do is tell you what you were not worried about. The forward fold and the inversion are the two that surprise people, and they surprise people precisely because nobody thinks to check them. A full matrix is the difference between an answer and a boundary.
And the shopping list only exists on a paid reading, because it is the only part you take away with you. It tells you which two photographs to open on the next product page and what you are looking for in each — which means the next piece you buy is one you judged yourself.
What credits are, exactly
- Conversation about a reading
- 1 credit
- Structure recognition from a flat photograph
- 2 credits
- Matrix image and structure annotation
- 5 credits
Credits are an allowance for using the service. They are not money, not stored value, cannot be redeemed for cash and cannot be transferred. They reset at the start of each period and do not roll over. There are no credit packs, no top-ups and no stored balances — if you run out, you move up a plan or wait for the next period.
A free plan never becomes a paid plan on its own. If you have not entered a card, nothing can be charged.

- Renewal
- Automatic, every monthRenews on October 2, 2026 at $8.00 USD plus tax, and on the same date every month after that, until you cancel. We send a reminder email once a year, on its own, that is not mixed in with anything else.
- Cancellation
- In your account, in two clicksOpen Plan and billing, select Cancel plan, confirm. No telephone call, no email, no support ticket, no offers to decline. Your plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for and is not refunded in part.
Payment is taken over an encrypted connection by a PCI DSS compliant processor. Card details are entered on the processor's own form and never reach our servers, so we do not hold, store or transmit your card number. Major credit and debit cards are accepted, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
By subscribing you agree to the terms of service — which include an arbitration clause and a class action waiver you can opt out of by email within 30 days — and the refunds and cancellation policy. This is a separate agreement from the renewal consent above.
Billing questions
The parts people check twice
How do I cancel?
Open Plan and billing in your account, select Cancel plan, confirm. Two clicks. There is no telephone number to call, no email to send, no ticket to raise and no sequence of offers between you and the cancel button.
Cancelling is available through the same channel you used to subscribe, which is how it should be and how California requires it. You keep access to the end of the period you have paid for.
Will I be reminded before it renews?
Once a year we send a reminder email about your subscription and nothing else — it is not attached to a product update or a marketing message. It states the plan, the amount, the renewal date and how to cancel.
Do you refund a part of a period?
No. Cancel at any time and your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for; we do not refund part of a period. There is no statutory cooling-off period for online digital services in the United States, so the policy published on this site is what applies — and we are bound by what we publish. The detail is on the refunds and cancellation page.
Why is tax not in the price?
Sales tax in the United States depends on where you are, so a single tax-inclusive price would be wrong for most people. The price you see is the price of the service; any sales tax due is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay.
Can I switch plans?
Yes, in the same place you cancel. Moving up takes effect immediately with the new allowance; moving down takes effect at the start of your next period so you keep what you have already paid for.
Do you store my card details?
No. Card details are entered on the payment processor's own form over an encrypted connection and never reach our servers. We do not hold, store or transmit card numbers. The processor is PCI DSS compliant.
